Bhilai Steel Plant’s Town Services Department (TSD) Enforcement Section took a significant action on May 31, 2025, by evicting unauthorized occupants from BSP residential quarter No. 0010, Street STA, located at 32 Bangla, Sector-8, Bhilai. This action was carried out based on the orders of the Honorable Estate Court against ACB Mining Private Limited, which was found to be unauthorizedly occupying the quarter.
The eviction process was conducted under the supervision of Executive Magistrate (Estate Court) Shri Narasimha Sahu at 1:00 pm. During the operation, police personnel from Kotwali Police Station, Public Relations Department, and Town Services Department, along with officials and employees from various departments, were present.
In the presence of Shri Narasimha Sahu, the quarter was thoroughly vacated and sealed. To ensure transparency, a detailed panchnama report was prepared on the spot in the presence of witnesses, and the entire process was videographed by the Public Relations Department. No material belonging to the previous occupants was seized during this operation.
A team of around 100 personnel was involved in this operation, It includes representatives from Public Health Department, Civil Engineering Department, TSD-Enforcement Section, Public Relations Department, private security guards (male and female), and other departments. Tractors, trolleys, jeeps, goods carriers, and other necessary equipment were also utilized to successfully execute the operation.
Bhilai Steel Plant aims to protect its legitimate ownership of residential and non-residential properties and effectively implement estate rules by taking stringent action against unauthorized occupants. Several such enforcement operations have been conducted in the past few days, and this series will continue in the future.
